The Manny Series Netflix Cast: Who’s Who in the New Comedy Show

Netflix is bringing a new comedy show to its platform, titled The Manny. The series follows a busy executive who hires a cowboy to care for her kids in a moment of panic. • Joaquín : José María Torre. He is Jimena’s ex-husband, who is a famous and wealthy architect. He is handsome, charming, and charismatic, but also selfish, arrogant, and unfaithful. He cheated on Jimena with his assistant Brenda, and then divorced her. He still tries to win her back, and feels threatened by Gabriel’s presence in her life. He is also a neglectful father, who rarely spends time with his kids. Torre is a Mexican actor, producer, and director who has worked in projects such as Rebelde, Hospital Central, and El Capo.

• Brenda : Diana Bovio. She is Joaquín’s assistant and girlfriend, who is also an architect. She is beautiful, smart, and ambitious, but also manipulative, jealous, and insecure. She helped Joaquín cheat on Jimena, and then moved in with him. She does not get along with Jimena or her kids, and sees them as obstacles in her relationship. She also does not trust Joaquín, and suspects that he still has feelings for Jimena. Bovio is a Mexican actress who has starred in films such as Mirreyes vs Godínez, La Boda de Valentina, and El Cumple de la Abuela.
• Leo : Anthony Giuletti. He is Jimena’s son, who is 10 years old. He is smart, curious, and creative, but also shy and insecure. He is often bullied at school and has trouble making friends. He finds a friend and mentor in Gabriel, who teaches him how to stand up for himself and have fun. Giuletti is a young actor who has acted in films such as The Mule, The Art of Racing in the Rain, and The Christmas Chronicles 2.
